An Iranian lawmaker has dismissed Israel’s accusations about Tehran’s involvement in a bomb attack on a bus carrying Israeli tourists in Bulgaria as “unfounded” stressing that the charges show how “illogical” Israeli officials are.

“Iran has enlightened Muslims and freedom-seeking nations across the world to stand up to tyranny and especially the illogical, bullying and illegitimate regime of Israel,” member of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, Esmaeil Kowsari, told ISNA on Friday.
Israel’s accusations about Iran's complicity in the bus explosion are false, though there are certainly people who are against bullying and extortionist policies of Israel, he added.

“The Israeli regime and its officials accuse other countries of terrorist acts while they are themselves training terrorists and dispatching them to other countries to carry out terrorist operations,” Kowsari pointed out.

A deadly attack on an Israeli tourist bus took place in the Black Sea city of Burgas, located some 400 kilometers (248 miles) east of the Bulgarian capital Sofia, on Wednesday.

Israeli officials have accused Iran and the Lebanese resistance movement, Hezbollah, of carrying out the attack.

On Thursday, Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast and the Islamic Republic’s embassy in Sofia separately dismissed the Israeli regime’s claims, condemning terrorist acts in all its forms.
