Pouran Derakhshandeh, Habibollah Kasehsaz, Jamal Shourje, Mohammad Kasebi and Mohammad Hossein Haghighi will be Jury Members for Video Films section of 12th Moqavemat International Film Festival.
According to Public Relations office of 12th MIFF twenty video films out of eighty one will compete in Video Films section of 12th Moqavemat international film festival.
The announced Jury Members for this section will consist of:
Pouran Derakhshande, Iranian film director, producer, screen writer and researcher who graduated in film directing from Advanced School of Television and Cinema in Tehran. She directed numerous feature films like Eternal Children, Wet Dream, and Candle in the Wind and documentaries like Rasul, A Little Hercule and Six Brides for Ameneh.
Jamal Shoorjeh, graduated from Art University in Tehran and He is the director of Tenth Night, Karkook Operation, Red Circle, and Thirty Three days.
Mohammad Kasebi, Iranian actor and film director who graduated in theatre from FDA. He acted in several films like Boycott, Refugee, Attack to H3, The Red Circle, The Spouse The Inverted World, and Saint Mary.
Habibollah Kasehsaz, director of Death Carnival and producer of several films including River Side, Barefoot in Heaven, Nouruz, etc.
Mohammad Hossein Haghighi, director of desert Symphony, Moon and Sun, Travel to Tomorrow, Paradise is Somewhere else, etc.
12th Moqavemat International Film Festival with the cooperation of Islamic Revolution and Holly Defense Committee and Iranian Cinema Organization with the approach of “Moqavemat, Insight, and Glory” will be held in different sections including Iranian Competition section, International competition, and Golden Pen. Also the festival will hold tributes and workshops with cineastes in attendance to introduce the remarkable role of Iranians dealing with enemies and economical sanctions also their international scientific achievements, resistance and Islamic awakening, resistance against terrorism, and international Zionism.
12th Moqavemat International Film Festival will be held 24 -28 September 2012 in Kerman, Iran and 9 other countries.
