"Modest Reception" a movie directed by talented Iranian filmmaker and actor Mani Haqiqi shined at the International Warsaw Film Festival.

Haqiqi's screen creation received the Free Spirit Award of the Polish festival during the closing ceremony of the event held on October 21, 2012, press tv reported.

The Festival's Free Spirit Award is dedicated to a production with unique structure, strong ideas and excellent performances.

Modest Reception recounts the story of a rich couple who distribute plastic bags full of money in the Iranian provinces, a handout aimed purely at degradation.

Haqiqi's feature-length movie was awarded at the 2012 edition of Berlin International Film Festival where it was described as 'an intelligent provocation' by the festival's organizers.

The movie won the Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema (NETPAC) Award of the event's International Forum of New Cinema section.

Haqiqi's film is also programmed to hit the movie theaters in some other European countries such as Austria and Germany.
