Iran's National Football Team beat their hosts South Korea 1-0 on Tuesday and qualified for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

Striker Reza Qouchannejad scored Iran's solo goal 59 minutes after the start of the match qualifying Iran for 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

Iran and South Korea confronted each other in South Korea's Ulsan city this afternoon.

The 2014 FIFA World Cup will be the 20th FIFA World Cup, an international football tournament that is scheduled to take place in Brazil from 12 June to 13 July 2014.

This is the second time Brazil has hosted the competition, the first being the 1950 FIFA World Cup.

Brazil is scheduled to become the fifth country to have hosted the FIFA World Cup twice, after Mexico, Italy, France and Germany.

Spain is the defending champion having won FIFA World Cup 2010 defeating the Netherlands 1-0 after extra time.
