Iranian documentarian and scholar Komeil Soheili’s creation Persia - Untold Stories has been screened in the Russian city of Saint Petersburg.

The documentary which represents Iranian society and the people’s everyday life was screened at the British Library of the city.

Soheili, who studied cultural studies in Tehran University, presented some descriptions about Persian culture and rich tapestry of Iran’s history and literature at the screening program.

“The aim of the program is to bridge the gap between people of various nationalities and to help them talk about their own lifestyles,” Soheili had earlier said.

Persia-Untold Stories started its screening tour from Yerevan in Armenia in May, 2013.

The program was also presented in other Russian city, Rostov, on June 6 and 7, 2013.
