Iran has distributed over 2.2b liters of euro-4 gasoline in three cities, including the capital Tehran over the past six months, said the manager of a refinery which produces euro-4.

Ali Shirazizadeh, managing-director of the Imam Khomeini Refinery, said that the gasoline produced in this refinery was also distributed in Karaj and Arak cities, SHANA reported on Sunday.

Shirazizadeh said that the euro-4 gasoline has been delivered to the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company (NIOPDC) since January.

He said 280ml of euro-4 gasoline has been distributed in Markazi province and the rest sent to Tehran and Karaj.

Shirazizadeh said 16ml/d of euro-4 gasoline and 12ml/d of euro-4 gasoline are currently being produced by the Imam Khomeini Refinery.
