Iranˈs Industry, Mine and Trade Minister Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh said here on Saturday that Tehran-Ankara relations have entered a new phase.

Talking to IRNA, Nematzadeh made the remarks prior to his departure from Ankara where he headed a high-ranking trade delegation, at the invitation of Turkish Economy Minister Nehat Zibakchi on Thursday.

 

Nematzadeh said the two sides had discussed ways for further expansion of bilateral ties in economic and trade fields during his two-day visit.

 

He said that avenues for bolstering mutual relations were also reviewed in a meeting with Turkish Minister of Sciences, Industry and Technology Fekri Ishik.

 

Iranˈs Deputy Trade Minister Mojtaba Khosrotaj, Head of Iranˈs Trade Promotion Organization Valiollah Afkhamirad and a number of economic officials accompanied Nematzadeh.
