The cabinet will meet later today in Ardebil and will host the provincial high administrative council.
This is Rouhani’s 7th such visit since assuming power in July 2013.
President Rouhani is scheduled to meet Ardebil elites and intellectuals.
The visit coincides with the highly controversial impeachment of Rouhani’s Minister of Science Reza Faraji Dana by the Parliament rescheduled for Wednesday.
