President Hassan Rouhani on Thursday criticized Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) for not covering the governmentˈs achievements.

 

Speaking in the provincial high administrative council, he noted that International Monetary Fund (IMF), World Bank (WB) and foreign media appreciate the administrationˈs foreign and economic policies.

 

The President criticized IRIB for its indifference towards the incumbent governmentˈs achievements since it took office one year ago.

 

The government is committed to improve relations with the world particularly the neighboring states including Russia, Turkey, Azerbaijan Republic and Iraq, he underscored.

 

President Rouhani asserted that it will do its best to improve peopleˈs economic situation.

 

President arrived in Ardebil Wednesday morning and left the region for Tehran this afternoon.

 

This is Rouhani’s 7th such visit since assuming power in July 2013.
