The President made the remark after he visited Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
He stressed that There is no room for concern and people should thank god for the Leader's good medical condition.
President Rouhani visited the Supreme Leader in a Tehran public hospital Monday morning.
Ayatollah Khamenei had a prostate surgery this morning. His surgery ended successfully and he is in normal health condition, the head of operation team Dr. Alireza Marandi told reporters on Monday.
The surgery was successful and was performed without use of anesthetics, he added.
