All countries have now reached the conclusion that no success will be made in the fight against terrorism without Iran, President Office's Chief of Staff Mohammad Nahavandian said.

Speaking in a televised program on Tuesday night, the official said President Hassan Rouhani's visit to New York "was successful from different aspects".

President Rouhani attended the 69th session of the UN General Assembly on September 24 where he outlined Tehran's viewpoints on different major international developments.

The policy of moderation pursued by the government of President Rouhani is not limited only to economic and internal affairs, Nahavandian said, "It also includes the country's foreign policy."

"No plan will be successful in Iran's absence both at the regional and international levels," Nahavandian said, "In practice, Iran has shown a powerful, logical and polite presence which will bring success" for Tehran.

"Regional states should be informed of any measure to be made by a country from outside the region in fight against terrorism. They should help only when they were asked to,"

the presidential official stressed.
