Head of the international section of the 33rd FIFF described new approach of Iran Film Market and announced that more than 75 international TV channels, film companies, festival presidents and guests will attend Tehran film market.

According to the Public Relations Office of the 33rd FIFF, Arash Amini explained about the last updated of the Iran Film Market (IFM) and said, "This event will be held in the second floor of Mellat Cinema Complex and will present Iranian films and cinema productions."

He elaborated the new approach of the event and commented, "This is a new approach to the film market. There are few countries in the Asia with this type of film market and we believe this would eliminate lots of problems we used to face before."

Head of the international section of the 33rd Fajr International Film Festival also referred to the number of presented films in the market and confirmed, "We have selected about 200 works with different categories from documentaries to features and animation which will be screened in screening rooms."

"The presented films were selected through vote and recommendations of Iranian producers and obviously, newly made works will attain more attention. Besides, there would be meeting stands for sellers and guests meetings." He continued.

Amini expressed his satisfaction about foreign counties presence and the new presentation way for distributing Iranian films and said, "Till now, more than ten TV channels and more than 15 reputed film festival presidents, and 50 film companies from 70 countries have confirmed their registration and we will host them from April 25th to May 2nd in Mellat cinema complex."

33rd Fajr International Film Festival will be held from April 25th to May 2nd 2015 in Tehran. This is the first year that international section of FIFF to be held separately from national section.
