Zarif made the remarks in a meeting with US Secretary of State John Kerry at the residence of Iran's ambassador to the United Nations in New York on Monday.
Since drafting the final comprehensive nuclear deal will be very much time consuming, Iran and P5+1 have agreed to pay enough time for writing the text of final deal, he added.
Zarif said that Iran and P5+1 will begin a new round of talks on drafting the final nuclear deal on Wednesday and it would continue the next week.
Tehran expects US and other P5+1 member states to be bound to their international obligations, he added.
Foreign minister referred to his speech at the NPT Review Conference as representative of Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), adding that Iran has similar stance towards NPT.
Pointing to Iran's Supreme Leader's decree on prohibition of nuclear weapons, Zarif said that making a world free from nuclear weapons is Iran and NAM members' top priority.
Zionist regime as a non-NPT signatory which have several nuclear arsenals is the biggest challenge to NPT regime in the Middle East, he added.
The official underlined that having peaceful nuclear energy is all countries' right and Tehran will continue negotiations to prove the peaceful nature of its nuclear program.
During the meeting, Kerry said to his Iranian counterpart that if Iran and G5+1 sign a comprehensive nuclear deal, US will implement the deal and will be bound to it beyond the internal disputes.
Zarif and Kerry discussed efforts to secure a final agreement between Iran and the six powers by a June 30 deadline.
