Reaching a deal between Iran and P5+1 was a decision that can open the way to a new chapter in international relations, EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini said on Tuesday.

Speaking at the final meeting of Iran and P5+1, she said that what we have in front of us today … is the result of very hard work. … I’d like to thank all of us sitting around this table.

She added: It is a decision that can open the way to a new chapter in international relations. … I think this is a sign of hope for the entire world.

Foreign Ministers of Iran and P5+1 countries accompanied by the EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini started their closing plenary on Iran's nuclear issue an hour ago.

All the team members including the experts are also present in the ministerial meeting in the UN building which is the venue of talks.

An agreement on the nuclear deal has been reached, a Western diplomatic source confirmed to IRNA in Vienna on Tuesday.

The nuclear accord followed 18 days of intensive negotiations aimed at ending the 12-year nuclear dispute.

There has been no official confirmation yet by the Iranian side.
