Iran extended condolences to Pakistan, Afghanistan and India’s nations and governments over the deadly earthquake which claimed about over 300 people and left hundreds wounded.

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Marziyeh Afkham said that Iran is ready to send human aid to the affected area as soon as possible.

A 7.5-magnitude earthquake struck northern Afghanistan, with tremors felt in Pakistan and northern India on Monday. The quake was also felt in the Himalayan region of Kashmir.

The death toll is rapidly rising amid reports of buildings being reduced to rubble in areas hit hardest by the earthquake.
