Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said on Saturday that 'we are getting to implementation day; it is not a serious matter'.

Writing on his official Twitter account, Zarif said, 'Diplomacy requires patience, but we all know that it sure beats the alternatives.'

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is expected to release a report tonight confirming that Iran has met its promises under a nuclear deal reached with the six world powers last July.

The release of the IAEA report is seen as the 'Implementation Day' of the nuclear deal and lifting Western sanctions on Iran.

It is said that Zarif and EU Foreign Policy chief Federica Mogherini would release a joint statement after the IAEA report.
