Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif arrived in the Slovakia capital late on Wednesday on the second leg of his three-nation tour to the Eastern Europe.

While in Bratislava, Zarif is slated to hold talks with his Slovakian counterpart as well as the country's president, prime minister and parliament speaker.

He is also to attend a joint trade meeting and deliver a speech in Institute for International Studies in Slovakian Foreign Ministry.

Zarif arrived in the Romanian capital from Beirut on Wednesday, where he held separate talks with senior officials of the country on the issues of mutual interests.

He started his visit on Monday (Nov 7) heading a high-ranking economic and political delegation.

The Iranian foreign minister would also travel to the Czech Republic on the third lag of his tour to Eastern Europe respectively.
