A senior official with Iran’s nuclear agency said that the Islamic Republic of Iran has prepared itself for the worst situation, adding that the US president-elect Donald Trump cannot neglect the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action and it has to abide by.

Behrouz Kamalvandi, who is the spokesman for the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), said on Wednesday that when Trump takes the helm of presidency, his advisors will tell him that he does not have much options t deal with Iran.

'JCPOA was the result of diplomatic efforts (of both sides) and we reached a place that both sides were relatively confident about its outcome,' he added.

Kamalvandi reiterated that diplomacy of the US president-elect does not differ much from the former president.
