Speaking to IRNA, he said thanks to their neighborly relations and since both nations are Muslims and follow balanced foreign policies, Kazakhstan has a high place in Iran's foreign policy.
Iran was one of the first countries which recognized the independence of Kazakhstan and established political relations with it, the official added.
The envoy said Iran-Kazakhstan relations are increasing.
Exchange of high-ranking delegations between Iran and Kazakhstan shows their commitment to development of all-out ties, he noted.
Damirchilu said that ground is now ready for development of Iran-Kazakhstan relations and two countries have already signed several basic documents for development of relations.
The official said that the prospect of export of products, technical and engineering services in various fields of mining, industry, road construction and agriculture is brilliant.
He added that up to 100 Iranian companies are active in trade, investment, mining, agriculture, road construction and animal husbandry fields in Kazakhstan.
The two countries can also cooperate with third countries in the area of transit, trade, multilateral investment and re-export of products, the envoy noted.
He said the two countries have similar stance in regional and international issues.
Iran and Kazakhstan have also good cooperation in field of agriculture and the two countries have signed cooperation document in this regard, the ambassador added.
He said Kazakhstan is interested in exchanging views with Iran on regional and international issues including developments in the Islamic World and the Middle East.
