“(I am) in Athens, to represent Iran at Ancient Civilizations Forum: Dialogue among Civilizations for a World Against Violence and Extremism (WAVE),” Zarif wrote in his official Twitter account.
Zarif, who is on a two-day visit to Athens to attend the first conference of 10 world ancient civilizations, will also meet with Greek prime minister and minister of foreign affairs as well as a number of his counterparts present at the conference.
Foreign ministers of Iran, China, India, Italy and Egypt are among the officials invited to Ancient Civilizations Forum.
