The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) in a statement released on Wednesday vowed to take revenge for all innocent blood shed by terrorists in the terrorist operations which claimed lives of 12 people and injured 42 more.

IRGC will spare no effort to protect the life of people, the statement added.

IRGC press release referred to the fact that Daesh has taken the responsibility for the criminal act and said that this terrorist operation took place a week after the US President Donald Trump visit to one of the reactionary regimes of the region which is supportive to Takfiri terrorists.

“All these facts show that they had a hand in the brutal operation,” the statement noted.

In an apparently coordinated attempt, two terrorist groups attacked mausoleum of the late Imam Khomeini, southern Tehran, and the Iranian Parliament (Majlis) on Wednesday morning, killing 12 people and injuring 42 more.

The terrorist group of Daesh (the ISIS terrorist group) has claimed responsibility for the fatal attacks in Tehran.

According to an official at the Intelligence Ministry, several terrorist cells have entered Tehran to carry out terrorist operations, but just members of one of the cells have been arrested.

One of the terrorist was gunned down by the security forces and another attacker blew oneself up outside the Imam Khomeini shrine.

Terrorists entered the Parliament building while they had dressed as women, said a security official.

Parliament operation ended by security forces who killed three of the terrorists, one of them had detonated himself before.
