Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif arrived in Pretoria, South Africa, on Sunday to attend the 13th Iran-South Africa Joint Economic Commission meeting.

Upon their arrival in Pretoria, Zarif and his entourage were welcomed by director general for south African foreign ministry for Middle East region and Iran's Ambassador to the country Mohsen Movahedi Qomi.

During his stay, Zarif, heading a high ranking politico-economic delegation, will confer with the country's officials as well as participants of the joint meeting on issues of mutual interests as well as regional and global developments.
