Iran-South Africa Business Forum started in Pretoria, South Africa on Monday, with Iran Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif addressing the opening ceremony.

Zarif attended the business event, held in the South African Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where the country's Minister of Small Business Development Lindiwe Zulu was also present.

Economic and commercial issues and obstacles on the path towards enhancing bilateral economic relations between the two nations are expected to be discussed in the forum by the participants.

The 13th meeting of the Iran-South Africa joint commission will be held following the forum.
