Director of the International Affairs Department at National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) Behzad Babazadeh said Iran's gas exports rose by 64 percent in the first five months of the current Iranian year (started March 21).

Babazadeh said export of natural gas to Iraq rose to about 14 million cubic meters a day from seven million cubic meters within 100 days since the 12th government has taken office.
