The Iranian men handball team will face Asian rivals from January 25 to February 6 in Bahrain, the Islamic republic news agency reported.
Group B consists of Qatar, Japan, the UAE, Kuwait, Iraq and Oman.
The top three finishers all get a place in the 2015 IHF World Men's Handball Championship which will be held with the participation of 24 teams in Qatar.
Matches in the Asian championship will be played at the Khalifa Sports City in Isa Town and Isa Sports City in Riffa.
The Koreans have won the title in the last three editions of the tournament.
