With sanctions eased, Iran has gradually increased export of crude oil and petrochemical products to the EU countries; Albania is the first destination.

After the Geneva nuclear deal between Iran and Powers, both sides hammered down an agreement according to which west should ease sanctions against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Last March, Iran exported its first oil shipment including crude oil, condensed gas and petrochemical products to the European countries.

In line with provisions made in Geneva Joint Plan of Action, condensed gas and petrochemical products export experienced a leap forward and crude oil export has also been increasing since then.
