Dehqan made the remarks in an inauguration ceremony of four new defense achievements by the Air Industries Organizations affiliated to the Iranian Army in presence of President Hassan Rouhani.
The minister went on to say that the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic are fully prepared to protect the country.
He underscored that the Armed Forces are equipped with state-of-the-art defensive military hardware, adding Iranian defense industries are seeking to design and produce the systems and the military hardware to repel the enemiesˈ threats with an effective deterrent.
The ceremony coincided with the second day of the Government Week which is observed nationwide annually to remember the martyrdom anniversary of President Mohammad Ali Rajaei and his Prime Minister Mohammad Javad Bahonar by the terrorist Mojahedeen Khalq Organization (MKO) on August 30, 1981.
