A two-day International Festival of '60-Second films' was held in Pakistan’s Islamabad in which the Iranian films drew attraction of public.

A total of 100 60-second films from different countries including 32 films from Iran were shown at the festival held at Aiwan-i-Quaid auditorium in Islamabad.

32 Iranian films including ‘Tar-o-pood’, ‘Yaar’, ‘Irani Selfie’ and ‘Mother’ were screened at the event.

The Iranian film makers discussed different social, political and family issues in their works.

People from different parts of Pakistan attended the festival and showed keen interest in the Iranian 60-Second films.

Iran and Pakistan are closely linked with each other through religion, history and culture that is why serious efforts are being made to screen Iranian films in Pakistan.

It is believed that Iranian films would provide quality entertainment to the Pakistani audience.

Iranian cinema has been one of the main enthralling and appealing cinema industry in the world and has gained special status among the world’s cinema industry with its unique and innovative film directing techniques.
