Iranian director Parviz Shahbazi’s movie “Malaria” swept up the awards for Best Script, Best Feature Film, Best Director and Best Actress at the 5th International Bosphorus Film Festival in Istanbul that ended on Monday.

Also, Ehsan Khater won the Best Fiction award for Majid Majidi’s “Behind the Clouds”. He hailed the director as a magnificent teacher and a legend.

More than 3,400 international works from 102 countries were sent to the festival, and 150 films from 36 countries were shown.

The Best Editing Award and the Best International Short Fiction Film Award were, respectively, given to 'Beyond the Clouds' by Hassan Hassandoost and 'Retouch' by Kaveh Mazaheri.
