Iranian Health Minister Hassan Ghazizadeh Hashemi and his Chinese counterpart Li Bin on Tuesday sealed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to broaden bilateral ties in the health field.

The MoU aims at developing cooperation between the two countries.

The exchange of health and medical experts, transfer of information related to the public health, organizing medical conferences and symposiums are among articles of the MoU.

Traditional medicine, controlling and preventing non-communicative diseases, primary healthcare, rural health, health policy making, medical management, health system, full coverage of health, exchange of information as regard financing and evaluating health technology were among other topics mentioned in the MoU.

‎Participating in the first gathering of Iranian scientific society in China, visit to Beijing National Hospital, visit to traditional medical hospital and signing document to build hospital in Iran are among schedules of Iranian minister in China.

Qazizadeh had already visited Seoul before visiting Beijing.

During his visit to Seoul, the Iranian delegation visited several hospitals and center to build medical equipment and signed seven memoranda of understanding (MoUs).
