One month after the visit of Dr. Mehdi Ghadanfari Iran’s Minister of Industry, Trade and Mines and his delegation to Tunisia, Peyman Jebbeli the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic in Tunisia held a press conference to present the results of the 11th Tunisian Iranian Joint Economic Cooperation Commission to the Media.

The Ambassador has announced that both sides have to seize the extraordinary cooperation opportunities after the Tunisian Revolution

The visit of the Iranian delegation of experts and businessmen has had an impact on the Tunisian Public.

Tunisians believe that bilateral relations will not only be reinforced politically and strategically but also economically as Iranian investors will work with their Tunisian counterparts in the energy sector, the pharmaceutical Industry and the production and distribution of Iranian cars in Tunisia and North Africa.

At the End of his conference, Iran’s Ambassador has evaluated the scope of the Tunisian Iranian relations by asserting that the positive atmosphere will contribute to the reinforcement of the ties between the 2 Muslim Countries.

As a leading industrial nation and a powerful ally in the region, Iran is perceived by the Tunisian public and Media as a partner whose cooperation will serve the interests of the people of Tunisia and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Tunisia-Iran bilateral relations have been reinforced after the Tunisian Revolution as the two sides have agreed upon encouraging the cooperation in all strategic sectors.
