The President in the message wished further expansion of mutual cooperation in line with mutual interests.
He wished health and success for his Vietnamese counterpart as well as the Vietnamese government and nation.
In October 2011, Vietnam's president said the positive trend in Tehran-Hanoi ties heralds promising prospects for the two countries' future relations.
He made the remarks in a meeting with Iran's Ambassador to Hanoi.
Sang thanked the efforts made by the Iranian envoy to expand the bilateral ties between the two sides, and stated, "Vietnam attaches special importance to the promotion of its relations with Iran."
