Lifter Bahador Moulaei dedicates medal to his coach

Sport - Iranian weightlifter Bahador Moulaei dedicated his silver medal to his coach Kourosh Bagheri.

Moulaei won the silver medal at the men's +105kg category of the 2013 World Weightlifting Championships with a total of 458kg.

Russian Ruslan Albegov won the gold with a total of 464kg. The bronze medal went to Russian Aleksei Lovchev who finished in 430kg.

“Mohammad Reza Barari’s bronze medal (at the 105kg) was obviously a huge inspiration. He encouraged me to win the medal,” Moulaei said.

“I was under pressure but I am so glad now since Iran flag has been hoisted. Thanks to those who helped me to win the medal, in particular my parents, Hossein Rezazadeh (head of Iran Weightlifting Federation) and Bagheri. I dedicate my medal to Bagheri,” he added.
