Esteghlal football club signed The Naft striker in the winter transfer window.
Oladi will wear the number 77 in the Iranian giant.
“I am happy to join Esteghlal because I want to play in the 2014 World Cup. I think I’ve made the right decision,” Oladi said.
Oladi joined Persepolis in 2003 and scored 10 times for the Iranian team. The 28-year-old player helped Persepolis to defeat its arch-rival Esteghlal in 2006.
Former Persepolis striker Mehrdad Oladi joined Esteghlal on Monday on a permanent contract until June 2014.
