The Iranian foreign ministry appointed five new envoys to China, Romania, Tunisia, Bolivia, and Colombia.

Ali Asqar Khaji, the current head of Foreign Ministry's Euro-America Department, was designated as new Iranian envoy to Beijing to replace Mahdi Safari.

Hamid Moayer, who previously served as Iran's Ambassador to Zimbabwe and Kenya and was the head of Foreign Ministry's Africa Department, was appointed as Tehran's envoy to Romania, replacing Bahador Aminian.

Also, Reza Tabatabayee Shafiyee, the head of the training center of Foreign Ministry will be dispatched to Bolivia, while another veteran diplomat, Mohammad Rezayee, is to leave for Bogota as new Iranian ambassador to Colombia.
