U.S. exports to Iran jumped 40 percent in value in the sixth Iranian calendar month of Shahrivar (August 23-September 22) compared to the same month in the previous year, the ISNA news agency reported on Friday.

The U.S. exported 2,297 tons of goods, valued at $14.52 million, to Iran in the mentioned month.
Total U.S. exports to Iran in the first half of the current Iranian calendar year, which began on March 21, hit $65.24 million, a 16 percent rise year on year.
Iran transacted non-oil goods with 177 countries in the past Iranian calendar year, which ended on March 20, according to the Iran Customs Administration.
