"I believe that both the US moves and the terrorist acts of the ISIL are doomed to failure because they are not in quest for truth," General Soleimani told reporters in Tehran on Monday.
"Their solution will not lead to victory; we have all witnessed in Syria tha the measures they adopted did not produce any fruit (for them)," he added.
General Soleimani underlined that the victories gained by Islam and the Islamic Republic of Iran have all been the result of their real quest for truth.
In similar remarks in June, Deputy Secretary-General of Lebanese Hezbollah Resistance Movement Sheikh Naim Qassem said that the US, Israeli and Takfiris' plots have the same character, and are doomed to failure.
Sheikh Qassem said the Takfiri plots have their different forms and tools which aim at undermining the dignity and pride of the Muslim nations.
He further added that the plots will undoubtedly fall flat, as it was foiled in Lebanon when the Resistance thwarted the Israeli threats in 2000 and 2006.
