Alireza Raeisian considered FIFF's workshops for coproduction, marketing and screening helpful regarding open new markets to the Iranian cinema.

According to The Public Relations Office of the 33rd FIFF, Alireza Raeisian, Iranian director referred to the effective decision about separation of national and international sections and said, "I have already talked about its advantages but the matter is the way it would be organized because this independent section should improve our cinema grade."

He also added, "FIFF can focus on a certain idea each year and regardless geographical limitations it may focus on specific ideas and prospects. For instance, it can screen films about peace or other important issues."

Raeisian pointed to the formal structure of the FIFF during the past years and emphasized, "If we plan properly for improvement of the festival's international issues and hold the film market with presence of big companies we would be optimist about the future of this separation. Besides, organizing workshops and conferences for coproduction, marketing, and screening would be helpful for increasing reputation of the festival."

This director also added, "There are many reputed Asian film festivals but the festival should provide economic opportunity. Reaching this, the film market must be more dynamic than competition sections."

Raeisian continued, "we should focus on screening Iranian films abroad. Doing this our priorities include Iranian population out of Iran, Persian speakers, Muslim societies and Asian countries."

At the end, he insisted on coproduction cinema and concluded, "We can screen our films in the mentioned regions and we can also plan for coproduction to find new markets."

33rd Fajr International Film Festival will be held from April 25th to May 2nd 2015 in Tehran. This is the first year that international section of FIFF to be held separately from national section.
