During June 2015, Iran Mercantile Exchange played host to trading of 1,932 KT of various commodities worth more than 981 million USD in spot and secondary markets.

During June 2015, Iran Mercantile Exchange played host to trading of 1,932 KT of various commodities worth more than 981 million USD in spot and secondary markets.
According to report from IME International Affairs and PR, 1,929 KT of different commodities were traded in Domestic and Export Trading Floors including 1,025 KT of various commodities worth more than 492 million USD in oil and petrochemical trading floor, 766 KT of different products worth approximately 421 million USD in metals and minerals trading floor, and approximately 138 KT of agricultural products worth 68 million USD in agricultural trading floor in spot market.
Moreover, during this month, export trading floor witnessed trading of 48 KT of sulfur worth approximately 6 million USD, 202 KT of bitumen worth more than 76 million USD, 3.5 KT of insulation worth more than 1 million USD, as well as 205 KT of iron ore worth approximately 6 million USD.
In addition, IME experienced trading of 2,880 MT of steel scrap in it secondary market during the same month.
It is worth noting, derivatives market played host to the trading of 57,704 USD cumin seed futures contracts worth more than 220 million USD gold coin futures contracts and 103,956 USD soybean meal futures contracts.
