The crimes committed by the terrorist group of Daesh are in contrast with the real message of Islam which promotes peace, Deputy Foreign Minister for Asia-Pacific Affairs Ibrahim Rahimpour said.

Speaking in a meeting in Sydney, Rahimpour referred to insecurity in Iran's neighbors and hailed Iran's successes in establishment of security.

Daesh crimes in the region are in contrast with the real message of Islam prophet which is peace, the official added.

He said that the disagreements among followers of various religions should be resolved through peaceful ways.

Before departing for New Zealand, Rahimpour also attended the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) and discussed the bilateral banking, energy, health and economic cooperation with the Australian officials.
