Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi said on Friday that unfounded claims by the Saudi Arabian foreign minister originated from heavy and repeated defeats of his country in Yemen.

According to the ministry’s Center for Public and Media Diplomacy, Qasemi dismissed the repeated claims by Adel al-Jubeir about Iran’s military aid to Yemeni combatants, saying that these assertions are rooted in his confusion as a result of heavy and repeated failures of the Saudi-led military coalition operation against the impoverished country.

Putting blames on others by Saudi Arabia will never change the existing realities and Yemeni nation need no help from foreign countries, he said.

The Saudi paranoid rulers should stand accountable against the world for their anti-human crimes in Yemen in the past two years and leveling accusations will never reduce their responsibilities for committing crimes in Yemen, Qasemi said.

Iran as a powerful country in the region with a constructive role in fighting terrorism has no need for meddling in other Muslim countries’ affairs. Mr Jubeir and other Saudi rulers are recommended to change their repetitive and futile approaches, Qasemi said.
