Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qasemi offered condolences on Tuesday to Kyrgyzstan's government and nation on death of a number of Kyrgyz citizens who were killed in landslide incident.

Qasemi sympathized with the bereaved families of the victims of the tragic landslide incident.

Massive landslide happened in Ayu Village in Osh Region of Kyrgyzstan, which buried 24 members of six families, including 9 children, at around 6:40 am local time on Saturday April 29, 2017.

According to the reports of local media, after three days of rescue operation is being stopped or is taking place very slowly because of snow and rain in the area.

So far, only three corpses, including a 2-year girl, have been retrieved from under mud.
