Iranian First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri has congratulated his counterparts in the Islamic countries on the advent of holy month of Ramadan.

In separate messages on Saturday, Jahangiri congratulated counterparts in the Islamic nations, expressing hope for the holy month of Ramadan to bring about an opportunity for the Muslims to strengthen their ties and end violence.

“I hope the holy month of Ramadan will see further strengthening of fraternity bonds among the Islamic Ummah and uprooting the violence and terrorism in the world,” he said.

Jahangiri also wished the holy month of Ramadan to be a month of blessing and benevolence for his counterparts in the Islamic World and a time for them to embrace the life-giving Islamic teachings to stop terrorism.
