If the United States violates the July 2015 nuclear deal, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), Iran will keep all options on the table, senior Iranian nuclear official said on Tuesday.

'US will be the loser if goes against the JCPOA,' Ali Akbar Salehi, Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), told the Lebanese TV news channel Al Mayadeen.

Tehran will reciprocally respond to Washington's behavior toward the international deal, Salehi told the news network.

Salehi said, while the JCPOA has the backing of the European Union (EU), China, Russia and other world governments, the United States withdrawal from the international agreement is not going to affect its continuation.

US has to bear responsibility for its measures in violation of the deal, said the AEOI head underlining that Iran will have no responsibility in this regard, because the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), which has verified Iran's peaceful nuclear program, has released seven reports confirming Tehran's commitment

So, Salehi stressed, there will be no reason for Iran to violate the deal reached between the country and six world powers- US, UK, France, Russia, China- plus Germany.
