At the end of his visit to Lebanon, Velayati entered Syria via land border.
He is scheduled to hold talks with the Syrian foreign minister and prime minister as well as visiting some areas in the country.
During his visit to Lebanon, Velayati held talks with President Michel Aoun, Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri, Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, Foreign Minister Gibran Basil and Secretary General of Lebanon Hezbollah Hassan Nasrallah.
He arrived in Lebanon last Thursday to attend meeting of World Union of Resistance Ulemma on Palestine and hold talks with senior Lebanese officials.
