Iranian deputy foreign minister and Omani foreign minister in a meeting on Wednesday underlined peaceful resolution to regional crises.

Visiting Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Morteza Sarmadi and Omani Foreign Minister Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah stressed continuation of consultations between Tehran and Muscat.

They emphasized the necessity of resolution of regional crises through peaceful means.

Prior to his meeting with Omani foreign minister, Sarmadi met with Tahir Bin Salim Bin Abdullah Al Amri, the Chief Executive Officer and Member of Board of Governors at Central Bank of Oman.

Sarmadi arrived in Muscat at the head of an economic delegation on Tuesday morning and was welcomed by Iranian ambassador to Oman and embassy staff as well as Omani foreign ministry officials.

The visit aims at developing and upgrading mutual ties.
