Iran emergency center has confirmed crash of a passenger plane, en route to Yassouj from Tehran.

The crash of the plane, belonging to the Asseman Airlines, took place near the city of Semirom, Isfahan Province, Pir-Hossein Kolivand Head of Iran's Emergency Medical Services told the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Sunday.

'About 60 passengers were on board,' Kolivand said.

The plane left Tehran's Mehrabad International Airport at 5:00 local time (1:30 GMT) and disappeared from radar screens after a while.
