Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, heading a high-profile politico-economic delegation, is scheduled to visit some African and South American countries on Sunday, Foreign Ministry spokesman said.

Zarif is supposed to hold talks with political, economic and parliamentary officials of Senegal, Brazil, Uruguay and Namibia, Bahram Qasemi said.

Iranian FM is also to attend bilateral economic meetings in these countries and to deliver speech at research centers, he added.

Scores of firms and entrepreneurs in economic, financial and knowledge-based fields from state and private sectors will accompany Zarif during his trip.
