Iran has unveiled major nuclear achievements on the occasion of 12th anniversary of Iran's National Nuclear Technology Day (April 9), Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi said.

First yellow cake made in the factory in Ardakan, central Iran, was sent to Esfahan UCF, Salehi said.

He also referred to exploitation of the mixing process in Ahmadi Roshan Enrichment Complex in Natanz.

Exploitation of the 2-time and 10-time testing of fuel loops in Tehran Research Reactor, design, construction and operation of the National Center for Research and Development of Science and Materials Engineering at the Ali Mohammadi Complex in Fordow were among other achievements, he added.

Salehi also pointed to designing and manufacturing the first domestic linear accelerator by Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences (IPM) and beginning of the construction of the laboratory unit of Shahriari Complex.

He referred to holding exhibition to introduce achievement made by researchers in Iranian National Laser Center to be used in health and industry sector.

He also listed in achievements construction of the Iranian Radio Equipment Center (Tetra), based on GMP requirements, the installation of an 18 mega electron volt cyclotron in Alborz Province to increase the production capacity of the radioactive drug for PET and the production of several new pharmaceuticals for cancer diseases.

Experts in Atomic Energy Organization of Iran also manufactured a centrifuge system and gave it to Iran Petroleum Ministry research center, he added.
