Islamic Republic's power and independence has roots in its people and armed forces and it does not rely on foreigners, Secretary of Iran's Expediency Council Mohsen Rezaei noted.
He said that Iran decides about its security and defense issues according to its expediency.
Enemies aim to spread discord among the armed forces of the Islamic Republic, the official said.
He referred to Iran's cooperation with Russia and Turkey in resolution of Syria crisis, and said any country that recognizes the official government in Damascus can side with the Islamic Republic.
